Date Abuse Type Description
Jan 19, 2019 blackmail scam Fake email saying they have hacked my email, and demanding I pay $1,000 in bitcoin. They included my OLD password which was really scary in the subject line. DONT FALL FOR THIS SCAM!! They use bots to find old passwords posted online. Email the person and try to extort a ransom... which is completely fake!!!!
Jan 17, 2019 ransomware This account has been hacked! Change your password right now!
Jan 15, 2019 blackmail scam Typical webcam/hacked account blackmail scam
Jan 11, 2019 blackmail scam What did I do? I backuped device. All files and contacts. I created a double-screen video. 1st part shows the video you were watching (you’ve got a good taste haha . . .), and 2nd part shows the recording of your web cam. exactly what should you do? Well, in my opinion, $1000 (USD) is a fair price for our little secret. You’ll make the payment by Bitcoin (if you do not know this, search “how to buy bitcoin” in Google). My Bitcoin wallet Address: 1CK4wZQSjJcq4z9oEXNm4c6cRntGyCNY2k (It is cAsE sensitive, so copy and paste it)
Jan 9, 2019 blackmail scam getting this emails daily
Jan 9, 2019 ransomware This is the second email I have received from this person. Same message in both. They honestly are funny to me because the English is broken and there are so many factual errors in them down to the fact that my computer doesn't have a webcam and I can honestly say I have never visited a porn site in my life. I am a woman and frankly porn is gross and destructive. Anyways, they are just throwing things at the wall and seeing what will stick. Don't fall for it.
Jan 9, 2019 blackmail scam Claims to have hacked email account
Jan 9, 2019 ransomware Important: You have 48 hour in order to make the payment. (I’ve a unique pixel in this e mail, and at this moment I know that you have read through this email message). Thanks to them. (Everything that is used for the authorities can help us.) If I do not get the BitCoins, I will certainly send out your video recording to all of your contacts including relatives, coworkers, and so on.
Jan 9, 2019 ransomware You may not know me and you are probably wondering why you are getting this e mail, right? I’m a hacker who cracked your email and devices a few months ago. Do not try to contact me or find me, it is impossible, since I sent you an email from YOUR hacked account. I setup a malware on the adult vids (porno) web-site and guess what, you visited this site to have fun (you know what I mean). While you were watching videos, your internet browser started out functioning as a RDP (Remote Control) having a keylogger which gave me accessibility to your screen and web cam. After that, my software program obtained all information. Well, in my opinion, $1000 (USD) is a fair price for our little secret. You’ll make the payment by Bitcoin (if you do not know this, search “how to buy bitcoin” in Google). My Bitcoin wallet Address: 1CK4wZQSjJcq4z9oEXNm4c6cRntGyCNY2k (It is cAsE sensitive, so copy and paste it)
Jan 9, 2019 ransomware This is obviously the biggest nonsense, paying with Bitcoin is anonymous so the scammer cannot know who the money came from (there is no sender). The story as described in the mail is therefore incorrect and is not based on truths. Black mail email with these last paragraph: Well, in my opinion, $1000 (USD) is a fair price for our little secret. You’ll make the payment by Bitcoin (if you do not know this, search “how to buy bitcoin” in Google). My Bitcoin wallet Address: 1CK4wZQSjJcq4z9oEXNm4c6cRntGyCNY2k (It is cAsE sensitive, so copy and paste it) Important: You have 48 hour in order to make the payment.
