It’s a scam Be very skeptical about all ransom emails and about this bitcoin ransom scam. Similar scams have been used to trick people into believing they have been recorded behind the computer._x000D_ _x000D_ Sometimes even their passwords are shown and the passwords are shown as proof (in which cases they just use already existing database leaks to scam people who have been affected)._x000D_ _x000D_ If you’re still afraid and not sure what to do. Write to the most IT knowledgable person you know to double-check.

We had the same message filled in on our contact form. It was submitted using IP-address 194.187.249.185, and User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:45.9) Gecko/20100101 Goanna/3.0 Firefox/45.9 PaleMoon/27.0.2. It was done automatically, because only the HTML of the contact form was downloaded and in the same second, the POST with the data was done. No other requests to our webserver were made by this IP-address.
