| Oct 11, 2022 | other | In late 2020, I was contacted by an individual who presented himself as a representative of an investment firm – WinnGroup. I was convinced I was dealing with a legitimate entity. Following the guidance of Jack Ramsay, the alleged Senior FInancil Advisor, I transferred a bit amount to the platform. On the 12th of November 2020, I requested a withdrawal of my funds. Nonetheless, was presented with the alleged taxes that needed to be covered in order for the withdrawal to be completed. I refused this request and therefore, was unable to get ahold of my funds. Then In March 2022, I received a call from the alleged Blockchain Refund Department that discovered her WinnGroup account was frozen. They informed me that I have a chance to get my funds back. In order to do so, I was instructed to open an account with Coinbase and Binance cryptocurrency exchanges. As I was told that I have a big amount pending on my account, I was convinced to transfer cryptocurrency equal to the amount in my balance statement. As I was under the impression of the positive resolution of my case, I agreed to proceed with the requested transfers. Upon forwarding the funds, I was instructed to contact Mr Sean Miller, representative of jaxxliberty.io and request the declaration to release the funds which was allegedly forwarded by higher authorities. Sometime later I realized I was deceived. I did not receive my funds back up until today. |

| Sep 28, 2022 | other | In February 2022, I was contacted by the CoinMarkets platform, who persuaded me into investing with them under promises of significant profits. At the time, I made it clear to the platform that I was not an expert trader, and that I was seeking a simple experience to fund my retirement. I would make deposits into the platform by purchasing cryptocurrency from FTX.com by sending them a wire transfer, then by sending the cryptocurrency to wallets provided by the platform. I was shown that my portfolio was growing and that I was making profits. I was assigned an account manager/financial adviser with whom I would have meetings on Zoom. Throughout my trading experience, I told an employee of the platform that I was unwell, and heavily sedated due to a heart condition. Regardless, I was pushed into investing more with them, and was even asked to access my wife’s retirement fund in order to deposit more. Eventually, my account started to deteriorate, and I was blamed for it by the platform in an attempt to get me to make yet another deposit. |

I was told how to make transfers and deposits to the platform, and was shown his account page. I would fund his account by purchasing Bitcoin from Binance and then sending it to the wallet address provided by the platform. The account manager then began directing my trading experience via AnyDesk, wherein he would open/close positions on my behalf. Eventually, I decided to withdraw after spending some time trading with the platform. I agreed to pay a tax in order to withdraw, only to be told that there was an issue with the platform's bank (Allegedly Santander). Following that, I was called by a manager named "Noah" who said that I had to pay an additional amount in order to receive the withdrawal. I then refused, which led to the freezing of my accounts with the platform until I paid a very significant sum. I then insisted that the amount be paid from my existing balance, which the platform refused. The platform then began pressuring me by claiming that they were adding significant interest on the amount I owes. |
