I was buying fabric dye with bitcoin and unfortunately this address by happenstance looks similar at a glance to the address I was sending to and I didnt scrutinize. A little research later and found out about Colormania (check your taskbar processes). No idea how it arrived, Ive always been security-minded on my PC. I bombarded my computer with anti-rootkit resources and neutralized it and it no longer substitutes wallet addresses on my clipboard (for now; I have to be ever-vigilant obvs)

One address was shown, but this one was copied to the clipboard. I was able to drag the real address to a text file, but even there, when I copied the address, this bad address showed up.

Everytime I copied and pasted a bitcoin address it always replaced it for the fraudulent one.

I have had the same problem with the clipboard trojan.

I transferred My crypto from Binance to Vauld when i copied and pasted the address this address got pasted (3GbPC5S4STGnDvihg4fHwTrxkVp229xjy6). Even though i copied the right address it got pasted as the above address. Can anyone suggest me how to retrieve my crypto.

i tried to make a deposit for online casino both for 48 dollars and tried to chat with them as to why it didnt go through and i realized that everytime i copied the address to send it to a whole other address was being pasted. not right....i hvent gotten anything back from that either...feel lost because i have no idea where to even start to even attempt to get it back...:-(

Tried to copy my bitcoin address to another wallet but always the above address get copied. Initially i realized the reason why I lost my crypto address, so later I had to type the address since that was the only way to continue the transfer

I copied an address from Opennode payment window. Which i pasted in withdrawal feed. After 24hours of not getting the deposit they updated me that your pc has a bug due to which address got change. Even though my antivirus scans are all clear. Lost all my money because of that address.l
