Jul 22, 2019 blackmail scam save yourself I recommend ignore this person. Who has no proof showing he can really hack. The only 1 thing he has is an old password, period. If someone has hacked and put a malware on your PC, he doesn't need to delete it. The only reason he "says" he's deleted it because he hasn't put anything on your PC to begin with, so that you won't able to find anything. Someone is capable to do this will easily find a good programming job and no need to beg for $900 bitcoin. One main thing: He has never mention your real name, because he never know who you are. Also means that even you pay the bitcoin, he won't be able to tell who has paid and who hasn't.
Jul 22, 2019 blackmail scam SaveYourself65 Come on! Today is the 4th time I've got the same e-mail (in a month) already! Don't you "claims" that you can tell if I've read your e-mail? I've all 4 of them. And I never pay you. If you have my data, please post them on the web and get the whole thing done already. Stop wasting people's time.
Jul 22, 2019 blackmail scam saveyourself Same old shit showing an old password and claims that he's got more, then ask for certain amount of bitcoin or he'll put my stuffs on line. Please, get some new idea, this is too old.
Jul 22, 2019 blackmail scam Save yourself Use an old password to draw my attention and pretend he's hacked my PC and recorded all my data, and threatened me that he will put my personal info on the internet. Beg for $900 bitcoin and he will delete all the data. If he being reasonable to ask for $2, may be I will consider paying (for his effort). Begging for $900 just getting 1 old password, learn some real hacking/computer skills first.
Jul 22, 2019 blackmail scam [email protected] After that I removed my malware to not leave any traces and this email was sent from some hacked server. I can publish the videos of you and all your private data on the whole web, social networks, over email of all your contacts. But you can stop me and only I can help you out in this situation. The only way to stop me, is to pay exactly 900$ in bitcoin (BTC). It's a very good offer, compared to all that HORRIBLE SHIT that will happen if you don't pay! You can easily buy bitcoin here: www.paxful.com , www.coinbase.com , or check for bitcoin ATM near you, or Google for other exchanger. You can send the bitcoin directly to my wallet, or create your own wallet first here: www.login.blockchain.com/en/#/signup/ , then receive and send to mine. My bitcoin wallet is: 1EwCEJr5JwpafZx11dcXDtX5QSPJvzth17
Jul 20, 2019 ransomware [email protected] Same as everyone else; old password, false claims. Don't have a webcam! Sorry!
Jul 20, 2019 ransomware Save Yourself I've got his e-mail blackmail me an ask for $900 for ransom. Forwarded his e-mail to the police cyber division. Never pay him and nothing happened. May be get caught already.
Jul 20, 2019 ransomware saveyourself65 I've got his e-mail 5 times already and they are the same. In the e-mail it says will be able to tell if I've read the e-mail or not, then why send the same e-mail 4 times to me? Saying something like if I don't pay 3 days, he will put my video online. Then why still keep sending the same e-mail after 2 weeks? Come on, you have got nothing but 1 old password that I haven't used for 8+ years. At least use something more recent.
Jul 20, 2019 blackmail scam Save yourself Read some reports saying that there are good hackers that help people to recovered a certain % of paid bitcoin ransom. Does it mean that bitcoin is not a safe platform, because there are evidences and witnesses proved that some hackers are able to take bitcoin from any accounts. I will definitely not doing anything via bitcoin.
Jul 20, 2019 ransomware saveyourself27 I've heard of this scam b4 and not sure if it's real. Finally, I've got this e-mail saying that he has got video showing me doing bad stuff, and ask for $900 bitcoin. I wonder even if I pay that, how does he know it was me sending him the bitcoin? He has no information showing to me that he can identify who I am. Furthermore, he is trying to use those fake e-mail address to send me the e-mail, but he claims that he can tell if I've read his e-mail. Now, the fact that he's using a fake sender e-mail is to avoid being traced. Such e-mail address is basically invalid ... how could my e-mail client send him back the notification that I've read his e-mail or not? Stupid jerk.
